Volunteering at Steckle Heritage Farm:
We love extra hands on the farm! Volunteering is so appreciated when we have repeat help we can count on. We are always in need of help with the gardens, building and maintenance, and general farm chores. If you have two strong hands, or employ a group of 20… please get in touch and let us know what your passions are! Chances are we can find something fabulous for you to do with us.
Special Events and Work Bee’s:
A great option for students, families and work groups. It is a one time commitment of a few hours that helps us out with special projects or events where we welcome the community in to visit us!
Our Spring Work bees are set for Sunday April 23rd from 2:30 to 5pm (and we’re making dinner for after we’re done, so plan on staying longer to enjoy a meal with us!) and Tuesday May 9th from 5pm to 7pm… families of all ages are most definitely welcome! We’ll focus on getting some gardens ready, some paddocks cleaned, some branches picked up, and some leftover leaves raked. We like to take short breaks to visit the animals, and we’ll take you on a little tour of the farm as well! Please fill the form below if you are interested, and we’ll be in touch with info as we get closer to the date 🙂 🙂
HELP NEEDED **NOW**: We are looking for garden lovers that can assist us with bed prep and planting this Spring!
