Emily Beatty brings us SUMMERTIME!

Posted on March 3, 2014 by Don Fawns

We’ve had a hard winter. I’m sure we’re not the only ones that have noticed how much snow we’ve had, and I know how sick I am of the colour ‘white’. Our house photographer Emily Beatty  is also getting antsy, and is wishing right alongside us for Winter to pack it’s bags and let the Spring move in. We’re all so lucky that Emily has decided to volunteer and share her talents with us, and our life is far more colourful and exciting when she visits. Emily has recently put up an amazing blog post on her website (www.emilybeatty.com) that is making us CRAZY for the sun to show up and warm our bones!

In addition to her freelance portrait style, she also happens to be a very talented wedding photographer. For the brides and grooms that book weddings here at the farm, Emily is pleased to offer free engagement shoots, and cover the tax on your package. With the costs of weddings being so high, this is just her little way of Thanks for choosing her to capture your memories!

I’d like to share a few of my favourite photos from her blog with you, as I try to remember what this farm looks like when it’s alive and growing, and days seem far too short for all the joy that we try to squeeze out of them.
