Steckle Heritage Farm is a beautiful 15 acre facility within the City of Kitchener. Our unique heritage property offers hands on educational programs teaching agricultural connections and building respect for the land and each other in our community. In the 1930′s nearly 30% of people lived on farms, now only 5% have those connections!
As our population disconnects from our rural roots, Steckle Heritage Farm represents the opportunity to reconnect. We inspire respect for the land, appreciation for agriculture and we connect people to local food. When you come to Steckle Heritage Farm, you experience a farm while within the city.
Steckle Heritage Farm is a non-profit charitable organization that relies on the support of people and business just like you. We are at a turning point in our operations and we need your financial support. Your contribution will allow us to realize and grow the vision of founder Dr. Jean Steckle. Your financial contribution supports exceptional youth and family programs, the on-going maintenance, and daily operation of Steckle Heritage Farm.
