Educational Programs

Come to our Farm in the City!  You and your students won't forget it!

All our tours focus on the season (spring is growth and fall is harvest) and the importance of the season to us as people who rely on farmers to feed us.  We strive to help connect youth to the importance of farms and give them a chance to get  "personal" with a farm.  Every tour includes a wagon ride where students get to see the apple trees we make our cider from, the gardens where we grow multiple types of corn, our GIANT pumpkin growing and more!  Then meet our animals (sheep, goats, ducks, turkeys, chickens, pigs, cow) and learn about their growth and care.  Many are so friendly that kids can feed them by hand.  Also included is a healthy snack of fresh apple cider and a seasonal treat (pumpkin muffin, zucchini bread, applesauce cookies).
