Leader In Training (LIT) Program
Leadership Development at Steckle Heritage Farm : LIT's
Each summer, we invite youth ages 13 and up to participate in our Leaders-in-Training program. Being an LIT is a great way to develop leadership skills and to gain valuable knowledge and experiences while participating in our Agriventure Farm Camp.
The first week of the program is spent learning and participating in Steckle Heritage Farm. Time will be spent exploring what the LIT wants to learn in their two weeks here, and learning about what is involved in being a leader in a camp environment. In the second week the LITs will then have a chance to use their skills as they teach a group a new game, facilitate large group activities and plan lunch with their peers.
